From the time we arrived until the time we left our stay with La Veranda was excellent.
Our Deluxe Villa was perfect, with a BIG fourposter bed and big bathroom. We brought our Ipod and there was a docking station, so we could play all our music. Every night when they had a little announcement (spraying the garden against bugs, invitation to the buffet) we receive a little chocolate treat with the announcement, which was great. The staff was so nice to us. The only fault I could find, was that prices in the hotel was quite steep, European prices in Vietnam. Down the road you will find good restaurants, laundry places if you want to pay less. I would also recommend renting a motorbike (about 100.000 Dong for the whole day), and go around the island yourself. An excellent way to do it the local way. You will find about 3 places who rent motorbikes near the entrance.
